The site is allocated for residential development within the Local Plan. The allocation comprises two sites, including this site. The adjacent site is also allocated under the same policy and has already been approved.

The proposed development for this site should take into account the approved scheme on the adjacent site and ensure that both sites are connected by a new footpath.

The proposed development has taken into account the site-specific policies set out in the Local Plan, as well as the adjacent proposed development, in respect of connectivity, total housing numbers, and open space provision. It also ensures that relevant technical matters, including noise, transport, ecology, and drainage, have been appropriately considered.
