The clients

Cala Homes are now part of The CALA Group, Cala Homes are developers passionate about sustainable and inclusive communities providing homes that will mature over time and sit well within their surroundings.

Redrow Homes is one of the largest British housebuilders with a proven track record for constructing award-winning homes. They have a reputation for quality and creating thriving communities by building responsibly and valuing people.

Lands Improvement  are helping shape the residential landscape of the UK, investing in both brownfield and greenfield land with a view to delivering consented development land ready for homebuilding.

The challenge

On behalf of a major house builder, Arrow Planning is in the process of preparing two detailed planning applications for residential development on the southern edge of Aylesbury. The sites are located within the Aylesbury Garden Town, which will provide over 1,500 houses and includes the South Eastern Aylesbury Link Road.

The solution

The applications will provide c.300 new homes and associated infrastructure on a greenfield site as part of the wider development area.

As well as preparing the applications for submission, Arrow has been involved in the promotion of the site, including preparation and submission of representations to the Local Plan process, appearance at the Local Plan Examinations and working with adjoining landowners and Buckinghamshire Council. We are also working extensively on preparation of the Supplementary Planning Document for the 1000+ home allocation.
