Will Docherty
Will is a Senior Planner at Arrow Planning, bringing more than 17 years of planning experience from the public sector across London and the South East.
He has worked on a wide range of urban, rural and enforcement matters, from large-scale commercial schemes of more than 12,000sqm and major residential developments to smaller planning applications.
Will brings broad experience across multidisciplinary projects, including agricultural, retail, industrial, telecoms, sustainable energy and heritage matters.
Will's Role
Will has extensive experience in planning appeals, including the preparation of planning and committee reports, planning statements and written representations. He has also been involved in Hearings and Inquiries and has appeared at Planning Committees. He brings a great deal of enthusiasm to his work and continues to build on his town planning experience within the private sector while working towards RTPI accreditation. Will is also involved in strategic planning work for a large Net Zero Carbon residential development in Bedfordshire.
Away from Arrow
In his spare time, Will takes a keen interest in sport, including rugby, historic motorsport, football, golf and shooting. Above all, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two young boys and their dog.
