Brief description of the client it’s needed.

The challenge

On behalf of our client, Arrow have submitted a full planning application for the erection of 33 business units with associated parking, servicing, landscaping and off-site highway works on site at Bierton, Aylesbury.

The solution

The proposal aims to address the employment needs of the area as identified in the Vale of Aylesbury Local Plan (adopted 2021) (‘VALP’). The application site is accessible and benefits from the new connections to Kingsbrook, which makes the Site accessible to a growing local population.

By delivering an important employment opportunity within a cycling and bus distance from a growing local population, it is well placed to offer local employment opportunity that can encourage a modal shift through offering travel to work by cycle and bus.

The scheme includes considerable additional native tree planting to improve habitat, facilitate wildlife, and increase carbon capture.
