The client

A local developer with a firm commitment to building the very best of high quality developments whilst working towards minimising carbon footprint. Barar Homes value their collaborative work with consultants who have decades of experience.

The challenge

Working with Barar Homes and Richard Clark Architects, Arrow Planning have successfully negotiated a revised nine-unit scheme on this hotel site. The Site has a complex planning history including two refusals of planning permission and one appeal.

The solution

The negotiated scheme needed to overcome the Council’s and Inspectors earlier objections, whilst satisfying the demands of the Council’s current Local Plan and contextual demands of the area. The end result is a high-quality design that has the potential to enhance the area and provide a good quality sustainable living environment for future occupiers.
